The Magic Circle

Booking a good Close-Up Magician adds a unique form of entertainment to any social event, helping to break uneasy silences and allowing your guests to interact. Close-Up Magic is the perfect ice breaker. Formal occasions, social events or just plain mix and mingle we've all been in a situation where we don't know everyone quite as well as we're supposed to, the grooms father, brothers lover, unwanted children or the Mds wife, whatever, It can be awkward. Having me perform will engage everyone with a moment of wonder allowing them to react together and have an experience that will be talked about long after I've gone. Also, having me perform is very convenient as I' am a one man act with a huge repertoire of magic. All my props are self contained in my pockets or borrowed ready to go anywhere at anytime throughout your event. I don’t require a specific performing area and I can stop and start at a moments notice.

As a full time professional Close-Up Magician for 12 years I have the experience and the skills to capture and direct an audience's attention leaving them surprised and baffled but always entertained. Sixty percent of my work comes from repeat bookings. Corporate clients have flown me to Dubai, Iceland, Portugal, Brussels, Spain and Kuwait. I have won awards for my magic from The Magic Circle and the annual International Magic Convention. I also regularly release effects for use by other Magicians in the Monthly Las Vegas publication Magic Magazine. Above all It's what I love doing and It's my living! Being a full time, London based Close-up Magician I go to hundreds of different types of events and equally many venues in the course of one year. Although Wimbledon based and extremely close to Surrey I frequently work in and around the surrounding counties and all over the London area too. Hampshire, Essex, Sussex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Middlesex and Surrey are just a few of the many different areas I cover on a regular basis and as I drive it's never too much of a hassle to get to an event. I appreciate that booking a Magician will be a new thing to most. If you'd like to hire me as a Magician for your event then probably the main query you'll have is 'How much do you charge'. There are many varying factors that contribute to my final quote. Essentially times, date, location and duration of performance will affect the total cost.
